Armando critica PSB por “querer ganhar no tapetão”
O pré-candidato ao governo do Estado pela frente de oposição “Pernambuco Vai Mudar”, senador Armando Monteiro (PTB), criticou a postura antidemocrática do PSB de forçar a retirada da pré-candidatura da vereadora do Recife Marília Arraes em troca do apoio dos petistas à reeleição do governador Paulo Câmara. “Lamento que o PSB atue dessa forma, querendo atropelar, querendo ganhar no tapetão. É lamentável, mas o pernambucano vai avaliar isso, se é uma postura correta, se é democrático querer abafar as candidaturas, excluí-las”, disse Armando. A convenção que vai oficializar a candidatura do petebista ocorre neste sábado 4, no Classic Hall, em Olinda, a partir das 9h.
“Eu lamento que o governo atue para tirar candidatos. Isso não é uma postura democrática. O que o pernambucano queria era ter mais opções para fazer a melhor escolha”, afirmou, completando: “Querem ganhar por WO, querem ganhar tirando os concorrentes do campo”.
Armando se disse solidário à vereadora. “Acho que ela deveria participar do processo e nós estávamos prontos para fazer o debate com ela também sobre os temas de Pernambuco”, salientou, reforçando o que disse durante a sua fala sobre o processo eleitoral deste ano. “Tenho um grande amor ao meu Estado. Estamos prontos para debater os problemas de Pernambuco. O debate tem que ser sobre Pernambuco. Eles vão querer falar sobre o passado, mas o que nos interessa é o futuro de Pernambuco”, arrematou.
