“A eleição será decidida em dois turnos”, afirma Armando em caminhada em Abreu e Lima
Na antevéspera da eleição, o candidato ao governo pela coligação Pernambuco Vai Mudar, Armando Monteiro (PTB), manteve o ritmo firme dos últimos dias de campanha, reafirmando sua disposição de que a disputa pelo Palácio das Princesas não será decidida no próximo domingo (7). Em caminhada pelo centro comercial de Abreu e Lima, na área norte do Grande Recife, Armando reforçou que o sentimento das ruas será o das urnas e que o segundo turno já é uma realidade. “Essa eleição será de dois turnos. Aí, com a igualdade de condições, poderemos fazer um debate justo, sem mentiras e falseamentos”, disse o candidato.
Acompanhado pelo ex-prefeito Flávio Gadelha e pelo vereador Soldado Zeferino, além do candidato ao Senado Mendonça Filho, Armando visitou lojas, salões de beleza, óticas e pequenos comércios de Abreu e Lima. Por onde passou, foi reconhecido e requisitado para fotos e abraços. Como na casa da aposentada Maria Lúcia Tenório, 80 anos, na Rua Miguel Ribeiro. “Nem idade mais para votar eu tenho, mas domingo eu vou votar em Armando. Nunca votei nesse governador e não será desta vez”, disse ela, logo após falar com o candidato.
“As pesquisas mostram que a oposição está crescendo, o que significa que a maioria do povo de Pernambuco reprovou esse governador que teve já a sua chance. O que nós pedimos é uma oportunidade para governar Pernambuco e mudar o que está aí”, enfatizou Armando, que, na véspera da eleição, terá caminhadas em Vitória de Santo Antão, na Zona da Mata, e no Cordeiro, na Zona Oeste do Recife.
